Life's like a box of...coffin?

Small note: Isn't the title of the entry oh-so-familiar? Remember a few years back (1994) when the show Forrest Gump which caused a big hoo-haa with his favourite phrase that goes like, "My mama say, life is like a box of chocolates...you never know, what you gonna get". Alright, that was a whole 11- 12 years ago. Bloody shit, that means I'm getting so old I don't even know. Okay, I know the never-ending amount of alerts popping up after you've got the code right is rather annoying. I get annoyed by it as well. But, hey hey hey, this is specially set up for you, my dear friends. So, right, after you have experienced this ultimatum, just leave a message at the tagboard and if I'm feeling happy any soon, I'm gonna remove the alert. Hahaha! I'm not perverse, I'm just down with flu. Talking about flu. So now, I woke up rather late today as compared to usual and Ondre thought he could wake me up by sitting beside the bed and using his eye power so that I can bring him down for a walk. Expectedly, I stepped on him while coming down from the stairs. Now, he's whining like a spoilt brat asking for a candy. So sorry ondre but I'm too weak to handle you once you get downstairs.

Trust me friends, I am trying to settle down to study but then poof! I'm down with flu again. Then vanez had to make it worst by making me receive her letter this morning. It nearly made me cry. Hey, thanks a million for the letter, I'm feeling so touched now I've decided to blog an entry and talk about it. Not all the things though but just talking about it. First thing first, do not worry about it if you guys are meeting me any soon or what, I am not suffering from H5N1 virus or what. So, please do not persuade me to like have a Tamiflu jab or what. It is just common influenza virus (HEY! I STILL REMEMBER BIOLOGY). Back to the letter now.

Now that we are all so busy, and we don't see each other in school everyday anymore. Still, you, huiru and peiyun are still my pillars of strength

Thanks. You guys are my pillars of strength as well. I look forward to every single meeting that we have even though it's really rare. Okay moo, I know you will start saying that we just met last week but you know lor, you so irresistable that I wanna see you more. As for ape, she's like always the busiest but I know I'm so gonna meet her during Lunar New Year to give her all her stuffs and also to get my ultimate ANG BAO! Right now, I am so afraid to even anticipate the future but I know we all have to carry on in life, be it disastrous or sweet. At times like these, this letter is really well-needed because it shows that I'm loved, cared for and concerned for. Of course, I had wish that we will all end up studying in the same University or what if we all can. I know that's a rather far-fetched wish but who knows right? So now, I'm settled down to my final choices of courses but not the Universities as yet. So, catch it!

So now, 5 choices of courses but no Universities set yet other than Murdoch. If I manage to find a place that has acceptable conditions and entry requirements, I will just apply for the first 2 courses. Alright now, I think I should get back to studying hard but before I leave, I shall first pen an inspirational piece dedicated to all my dear friends here.

Persistence

Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence.

Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan "press on" has solved, and always will solve, the problems of the human race.
